Ultrasonic Welding

The Zonic 20 Universal is a robust ultrasonic welder designed for heavy industrial use. The Z20U is of particular interest to those who require rapid horn changes and short setting-up times to assemble a wide range of plastic components.

The Zonic 20 Universal has a full throat of 30mm and a stroke of 75mm and can accommodate components up to 350mm in height. The transducer booster horn assembly can be rotated through 360º.

At the heart of the pneumatics is a cylinder 60mm diameter by 75mm with cushioning and fully controllable speed on both up and down stroke.

The system operates at 20 KHz and is rated at 1.5KW.
